Cataloging Experience
Cataloging Department, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa
During the Spring 2010 semester I worked as a cataloging intern where I:
- Performed BIBCO full-level original cataloging of English language books, electronic resources (monographic, serial, and integrating), maps, and videorecordings using the Endeavor Voyager cataloging module and the OCLC Connexion client.
- Created name and series authority records for contribution to LC/NAF through NACO.
- Submitted successful SACO proposals for topical subject headings "Kajukenbo," "Pritchardia" and "Hemp seed oil."
- Assigned LCSH subject headings and LCC call numbers to library materials on a wide range of subjects.
- Performed catalog maintenance projects for a variety of bibliographic, holdings, and item-level problems.
